Hi everyone!~
So today's outfit is different from my usual posts, but as you all know; I enjoy mixing up the style! This outfit was inspired by antielle.'s Ankoku Butoh face makeup that you can find at the Xiasumi School Festival in the drama section. Butoh is known as a form of Japanese dance theatre and many that practice this art form commonly cover themselves in full body white paint and from what I've seen some also wear bald caps to cover their hair aswell. Many perform the art in nudity aswell. The movements are slow and not like your usual dance forms and may even be disturbing or "weird" to most! It dives deep into a ritualistic vibe. This term Ankoku butoh means dance of darkness, and you can find many of these dances on Youtube,actually! (If you're curious). This uniquely, shocking dance art was founded in the 1960's by Tatsumi Hijikata and partner, Kazuo Ohno.
In this outfit I'm wearing a free top included in a fatpack with many other colors from ~ Soedara~ along with a free silky mesh skirt from Firefly.My flowing long hairstyle is from MOON called Eternal Winter!
